NUESA CELEBRATES UNILORIN OUTSTANDING ATHLETE REPRESENTATIVES AT FASU2024, LAGOS


The Excelerate-driven Administration proudly celebrates its outstanding representatives who excelled at the Federation of African university sports (FASU) Games 2024 in Lagos. 


The athletes, Obanishola Sofiat Arinola, Mustapha Kemi Ruqqayah and Alaba Ilaboya, all from the Faculty of Education, have showcased their skills in their respective categories, earned them :


•⁠  ⁠Obanishola Sofiat Arinola (Badminton, singles - Gold)

•⁠  ⁠Mustapha Kemi Ruqqayah (Discuss - Gold, Shot Put - Silver)

•⁠  ⁠Alaba Ilaboya (Short Put - Silver, Javelin - Gold).


Sofiat and Alaba are graduating students of the faculty while Ruqqayah is a soon-to-be 300 level student. We are very proud of you and your achievements. You’ve shown the world that excellence in sports and academics can coexist.


Congratulations to you all for making the faculty and the university community proud. Continue breaking barriers.
