UPDATE ON EXTENSION OF TEACHING PRACTICE



Sequel to a week extension in teaching practice exercise , the executives of Rejuvenation & forwardness era have been bombarded with calls, messages,personal visits from affected students.

The TP coordinator, Dr C.O Olumorin therefore addressed the association and the general public on reasons for an extension ;

- The extension is not a one man show, it is an authoritative decision.

- The NUC benchmark for TP is a minimum of six (6) week and not maximum so TP can be 1 year if we find it necessary

-  Students should understand the irregularities caused by the pandemic. Assessing of sandwich students, lecturing of PGDE students, computing of results are done simultaneously by same lecturers .

He futher noted that the management had recieved a woeful performance from the students accessed so far. Dr C.O Olumorin urged students to see this time as an opportunity for them to improve themselves before the arrival of the external examiner on the last week.

We are totally committed to our mission to run an administration that will not only be accountable but sustainable and progressive.
